Originally from Ohio, Nicole was raised in So. Padre Island, TX and studied Accounting at the University of Texas at Brownsville. Nicole has over 23 years of finance and bookkeeping experience and is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. She offers a wide range of financial and small business knowledge to all BH clients. When not at the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
Something interesting- Nicole can play the flute, piccolo, saxophone, bass saxophone and marimba!

Larry is a native Texan and has lived in Central Texas for over 17 years. Larry has extensive experience in management operations and plays a huge role in keeping our firm running with streamlined efficiency. He brings a very detailed and methodical presence to our daily operations. Larry enjoys landscape & wildlife photography and takes pleasure in sharing the outdoors with friends and family.
Something interesting- Larry lead a one year project with the Tx Bighorn Society to monitor Bighorn activity surrounding guzzlers in Big Bend!

Born and raised in Southern Indiana, Carla received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana. Carla has over 31 years of experience in bookkeeping and is a former CPA. With her experience, she provides great insight to our office and a value added experience to our clients. In her free time, Carla enjoys hiking and spending time with her friends and family.
Something interesting - Carla and her husband spend much time on their motorcycle traveling to explore new places!
Mandi Carter

Mandi is from the panhandle of Texas and graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown with a bachelor’s degree. In addition, she holds a Bookkeeping Certificate from Austin Community College. She adds over 11 years of bookkeeping and client management experience to our firm and is at home working in our fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment. Mandi’s favorite activities include boating and hiking with her husband and two dogs.
Something interesting - Mandi is currently assisting her community plan and route a new trail system.

Originally from Mexico, Karis has been a Texan for 19 years. She is bilingual, holds a certification in QuickBooks and has over 10 years of bookkeeping experience. In addition to her bookkeeping knowledge, Karis possesses several years of small business management experience. Karis is an avid reader of non-fiction and loves spending time with her family.
Something interesting - Her current pursuits include knitting and herbalism!

Cindy is from Northcentral Arizona, where she studied Business Administration at Yavapai College. She has worked for several companies and government agencies in both administration and bookkeeping capacities for the past 22 years. After office hours, Cindy enjoys spending time with her family smoking briskets and other meats on her wood-fired smoker.
Something interesting – Cindy is an avid Petanque player and is competitive on a regular basis.
Becca grew up in the Austin area and now resides in Leander. She completed an Associates Degree in Accounting at Austin Community College in 2021 and is now pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting from Texas A&M University – Central Texas. To top it off, she is also Minoring in Mathematics! When she is not studying, Becca enjoys reading non-fiction books across all genres and spending time with her boyfriend and pets.
Something interesting – Becca has a Ball Python named Jango!
Jennie has lived in Texas her entire life and has extensive administrative experience with several small and medium sized businesses. In addition to her admin experience, she has also completed some light bookkeeping and AR/AP work and continues to expand her knowledge in those areas. Outside of the office, Jennie enjoys all types of art and learning about different cultures. She is a Texas Master Naturalist and spends lots of time outdoors with friends and family.
Something interesting – Jennie is an Ordained Minister and a Stephen Minister.
Chief of Security / Paper Shredding Technician
Daisy is a native Texan and is our furriest BH team member. She has experience in home and office security and is skilled at document destruction. She is currently working on the Canine Good Citizen certificate with the American Kennel Club. Her favorite activities include playing fetch, belly rubs from clients, chewing on sticks and visiting the dog park.
